Scott and BJ Young are excited to be opening The Cleaning Authority of La Grange.
Scott, who has a bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College and MBA from Northwestern University, was in corporate America for more than 30 years, and specifically had positions in sales and marketing. Of the 30 years, he spent 20 years with Coca-Cola at the Senior Vice President level. He also worked for Procter and Gamble, Hallmark, Freudenberg, and Monsanto.
BJ has a marketing degree and worked as a marketing director in the commercial real estate industry. She has worked at several non-profits including the American Red Cross, Goodwill Industries, and Harvesters - the Community Food Bank.
“We’ve both learned quite a bit in our years in corporate America, and we look forward to taking these learnings and bringing them to our business,” BJ said.
Through their business experience, they decided they wanted to start doing their own thing. “The structure and corporate culture of The Cleaning Authority were in line with our values and ideals, the thought of owning our own business, really impacting our community, and having a team of people that can work toward our goals together,” Scott said.
Before committing to started with The Cleaning Authority, Scott and BJ spoke with 20 franchise owners to learn more. “We were impressed with the professionalism and support. It made us feel confident that we made the correct franchise ownership decision,” Scott said.
The couple were thoroughly impressed with the Detail-Clean Rotation System. “The Detail-Clean Rotation System itself is also a differentiator that provides an amazing consistent clean for our customers.”
The couple are excited to start their new journey with The Cleaning Authority and make a change in their community.
